Tsali Challenge

9/6/08 for the solo's, and 9/7/08 for the teams.   3mile paddle (seems longer), 4.5 mile trail run (seems long enough), and 12 mile mtb leg (a blast). 

Kephart had it right a long time ago; there are some hard men around Bryson City.  I think this is the standard for all the sprint tri's here in the southeast. There are blazing times in all classes. (Mine is not one of them.)

Anybody interested in teaming up and racing on Sunday too, please post.

I'd certainly like to pull a few minutes back off that, but I have'nt run worth a damn all year.  I'm taking a different boat, and probably a different bike this year too.    We'll see how it goes.

Worth checking out, for those of ya'll that are'nt attending the Tour De London that weekend.

Changes in Navigation
We're working to simplify the navigation on the site.  You'll notice a few changes in the top nav today.  This is to get ready for a new menu and look that will help organize the site better for members.

We're also planning to consolidate the forums into one forum in the near future.  Right now we have a forum for each "group".  We've been developing our groups or "BikeCliques" so members can create their own forums for their group, club, race or even just a rag tag group of buddies who ride together. 

In the near future there will be a KyMBA BikeClique that you can join and post in, upload photos, etc. 

All of these change are intended to make things easier, better and allow more cyclists to participate in the site.

Stay turned for more....and hang on while we mess with the site for a while.

Terry Sullivan River Road Rage Ride
I'm always looking for a ggod training ride and this sounds like a winner to me. We could start at the River Front, go up River Road to Prospect Point, and then turn around, repeating said course until desired number of miles are accrued.

One notion would be to invite the Sullivans and keep a very tight single file paceline and rag on him like crazy if he can't hold the line.

Or we could just ride three or four abreast a la Critical Idiots style.

I think this idea has potential.

XC on the Olympics this weekend
Hey everyone, just a heads up that Mt. biking XC will be on tv this weekend. Women's race is Friday and the Men's is on Saturday.

I watched the BMX last night and it was very cool.

anyone else receive any spam yet? i just received a nice little message from someone asking for a hookup. i'm sure this isn't someone on the site because, well, everyone knows i already have my permanent hookup.

i wanted to check to see if anyone else is getting these on the off chance this was a legit person wanting a lil' somesome from someone who can't have a lil' somesome from me.
