Dear administration and other readers,

Here at Lindsey Wilson College, which is a couple hours south of louisville in kentucky there is a varsity cycling, including mountain bike, program that has existed for over the past decade. It has enjoyed many years hosting races and training at the local Green River State Park. The trails which have of recent, regardless of routine maintenance by both park service and students, become an object of concern with the ability to ride certain sections falling beyond anyones skill due to excessive wear due to rain and usage. There has been a meeting between local users including park service and students to address the issue and, being predominately a student used section of trail, has been given to us to fix. The idea of getting help be it proper tools, man (and woman) power, or both through KYMBA was mutually brought up as a possibility. It is initially a short section of trail, be a couple hundred yards, but there are other parts that could use the effort. This project is one that is worth the work and would restore what has been a regionally dominant place to race and ride. The date for which would ideally be set this spring before foliage, and riding, sets in for the summer, any and all help is welcome. Thank you and am looking forward to your reply.
