		<title>Help ensure the construction of new mountain bike trails at Mammoth Cave National Park</title>
		<description><![CDATA[We have a great opportunity in our own backyard for new mountain bike trails!&#160;Mammoth Cave National Park is moving through the special regulations process to open new trails to mountain bikes. Their plan is now out for public comment and IMBA has set up an action alert outlining the process. Please take a few minutes to submit a comment; here is the link to our&#160;alert. The deadline for comments is July 17th and we are counting on you to help us get the word out!

		<title>ECHO Presents Chainsaw Safety</title>
		<description><![CDATA[ECHO Outdoor Power Equipment representatives are coming to the Bluegrass Chapter to present a chainsaw safety class.  The class is intended for those  who frequently perform trail work  and would like the opportunity for professional safety instruction.  The class will be Wednesday, March the 9th at 5:30 PM.
The class will be held at the Frankfort Fire-EMS station at the Capital City Airport (US60) in Frankfort KY.  Please RSVP  email Bluegrass@KyMBA.org if you plan on attending.  Check out the  ECHO website.

		<title>Sheltowee Trace Association needs 50 VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR TRAILCHECK 2011, APRIL 9 &#8211; 10</title>
		<description><![CDATA[Winters are always tough on the Forest.   It is Nature&#8217;s way of working to keep the Forest healthy and a habitat  for many species of animals.  With the arrival of spring, it is time to  gather our volunteers and head out to check the conditions on the  Sheltowee Trace NRT.   Winter snow and ice can bring down trees all  along the trail corridor.  Steps, hillside trails can erode with the  rain.  Bridges can be washed out or damaged.
