Waverly Park

Waverly Park– smooth, fast, flowy, sustained climbs and long fun descents

Waverly is 25 minutes south west of down town Louisville.  The trail system offers 7.5 miles of fast, flowy, smooth climbs and descents.  The climbs will test your fitness and the descents will make you smile.  You can park in the first lot near the playground or the bottom turn around lot.  All trails will lead you back to one of these lots so it is difficult to get lost.  The trails are not directional, however, there are some jumps and berms that are most enjoyable going clockwise.  There are not as many hikers as Cherokee, however, it is a multi-use trail so ride with caution.  There are restrooms near the lake.  The park entry gate is open from dawn to dusk.
