2011 Take a Kid Mountain Biking Day – Mammoth Cave National Park

6 October 2011 No Comment

The Bowling Green Chapter of KyMBA hosted IMBA’s Take a Kid Mountain Bike Day at Mammoth Cave National Park on the Mammoth Cave Railroad Bike and Hike Trail. All of the kids expressed how much they enjoyed riding their bikes in the park! All of the adults had a great time introducing kids to cycling in the woods; even if it wasn’t on a natural surface trail everyone still enjoyed it. I’m positive that all of the kids will be asking when can they go back and ride again!

“Today was very fun mountain biking! I think it was really cool here at Mammoth Cave! I really liked it; I thought it was very fun!” – Jake Compton (7 years old)

“I rode my bike at Mammoth Cave and it was fun! I went down the hill and it was awesome!” – Aidan Renick (5 years old)

“I rode my bike today at Mammoth Cave and it was FUN! My favorite part was when I was riding with my dad!” – Alex Renick (9 years old)
