“Alex Stewart will be back in town again this week, the first week of March. The plan is to break ground and cut trail with the Ditchwitch 650! It won’t be long before we have some finished trail ready for knobbies! More info to come soon on an up coming KyMBA trail day at Ben Hawes.” – Richard Dixon

” We’re off to an incredible start. Even with a few challenges we were able to finish a little over 2,000′ the past few days. It’s not 100% finished at this point, a few minor items to address, but overall very impressive first effort with a new crew. I’m very happy with how things are going so far and expect that we’ll continue to gain momentum as the workflow and weather improves.” – Alex Stewert

Alex will be in town this week on Thursday, Friday and Saturday AND we have the green light to host a Kentucky Mountain Bike Association (KyMBA) Volunteer Trail Day!

If your interested in volunteering to help build the new trail system, please join us this Saturday morning at 9:30 am.

Lets meet at the Ben Hawes Park main parking lot on Booth Field Road. Then carpool to the work site at the end of Medley Road or the end of Over Street Road. TBD

Please bring your own work gloves, eye protection, snacks and drink. Also, you might consider bringing your bike and ride some new sweet single-track before you go home.

Please sign a Kymba waiver and the City of Owensboro’s 302 Waiver and bring with you Saturday morning. (some of you have already signed and submitted the KyMBA waiver)
