We are having a Bowling Green KyMBA meeting on March 31 at 6pm, at Mancino’s on Nashville Rd. This meeting would be a great time to come out and meet other mountain bikers and get updates on upcoming KyMBA events and trail projects! We are also planning to show a trail building video to kick off our trail building season! Hope to see everyone there!

Trail workdays for Sal Hollow in Mammoth Cave National Park are March 19th, April 16, and May 21st. We meet at the Maple Spring’s Parking Lot at 9am to sign in with the park ranger. Most of the time Sal Hollow is in good condition and the workdays are very short. This leaves plenty of time for a lot of riding.

We had seven people show up on Friday 3/11/11 to clear some dead fall at Brier Creek. The plan was to clear as much corridor as possible in one of the most dense areas of downed trees. We ended up cutting our way through 1/2 mile of downed trees and cleared the corridor along the way! Great work people! We will post the next workday to clear more corridor very soon.
